I am an Occupational Therapist, with extensive experience in senior care in: nursing home, rehabilitation, memory care, psychiatric and assisted living facilities. I cherished the time I spent talking with my patients. My 79 year old Mother recently passed away. It was my privilege, to care for her, in her home, the last 2 weeks of her life, when she was receiving Hospice care. When I was in elementary school and high school, I always enjoyed spending time, with my Grandma and Grandad. When I was in high school I was a companion for a 92 year old, home bound woman.
I have decided to retire from being an Occupational Therapist, and I feel caring for seniors, would be very fulfilling.
