I have an elderly mother and see how hard it is for her and how much help people need as they age. I want to work as a care companion to help the aging population. This is a career change for me, as I was previously selling antiques and before that worked in advertising. I have always dealt with people well and was a stay at home mom for over 27 years, while working various part time jobs. I have taken care of my mother, who stayed with me last summer. We attended exercise classes for seniors and attended various lectures. I am college educated and a people person!
