Hi my name is Roxy, im 36 and I live in East Hanover, I have been doing home care since I was 21 in cosmetology school and before that l lived with my grandma in Florida and would help with daily tasks. My grandma is my favorite.
I enjoy spending time with older people because they just get it. I love to hear all the back in the day stories and learn about life and the slower pace.
I have experience with everything from fully functioning companionship to bed bound/wheel chair full care and hoyer lift, and multiple disabilities like surgery, injuries and open wounds to mental disabilities like Alzheimer's/dementia and Parkinson's.
I can assist with daily tasks including companionship, cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping, pet care, and transportation, and self care including bathing, dressing, changing, wound care, medication management, and patient advocate and support for the family.
I have CPR and emergency first aid training and a cosmetology license (if anyone needs their hair or nails done)
My personality is very polite and soft spoken, gentle, calm, attentive, and responsible. I always try to make sure my clients are the most comfortable and well taken care of as possible.
