Hello and thank you for reading my Bio.
I am Rita, a mature woman who has had diverse experience with care giving for people of all ages and diverse situations~ while addressing their unique & individual needs with a genuinely nurturing and compassionate attitude.
In my humble opinion, caring for others properly is an important responsibility which requires stability, truly being present, patient, flexible, and skillful~ among other essential traits as well. A positive and warm attitude is essential in order to uplift and bring feelings of trust and confidence to the person in need. Observation and attention to detail is a must while 'tuning ~in' to a persons special needs and in matters of their personal privacy~ in order to maintain self dignity in potentially embarrassing scenarios, such as with elders is most important.
I have the ability to do this and more through my mature and genuine nurturing demeanor. Attention on details, with a pro-active awareness of safety should always be maintained, while still keeping things real and relaxed, up beat and cheerful~ when appropriate.
I hold a current CPR card with The American Red Cross.
I am a licensed massage therapist that has worked with babies as well as geriatrics, and all ages in-between. (both genders.)
I have my own car and would be willing to do needed errands, and would also be able to confidently drive another vehicle in cases of handicapped individuals needing their own special needs car. If required, I am available to spend quality time and drive with the person, taking them to pre-scheduled appointments, shopping, or for other recreational activities in order to get them out and enjoy their days a little more. I am very warm, personable and have excellent referrals should you wish them.
I am flexible and one example could be; my availability to spend quality short intervals of one to two hours, one or two days of the week, in order to bring distinctive and valued time with a loved one~ when other family members are unable to. Sometimes a 'breath of fresh air' from an objective outsider is 'good medicine' in itself, when it comes to those family members needing assistance. I have the ability to make others comfortable as my genuine sincerity is felt.
