I am currently enrolled at New Mexico State University,, majoring in Psychology. I am highly interested in becoming an occupational therapist, more specifically for children. I know how patient you have to be to care for a child, especially such a young age. I understand why they could be sad, or why something makes them sad. What also makes them happy, etc. I would babysit my friend’s younger siblings when their family is at work. It’s not easy to care, give companionship, and comfort a child, but I know that I have enough knowledge and patients to take care of them. They’re our future.
