I have not received a job as an official caregiver yet, but I have applied to some different jobs taking care of kids. I am the oldest in my family so I have experience in taking care of younger family members, I also am an adult leader in a Boy Scout Troop as a merit badge counselor teaching the scouts different merit badges and as an Assistant Scoutmaster helping as a leader in the troop. I am able to help kids learn, I am willing to play games with them (to a certain point), I also know how, why and when, it would be appropriate to discipline younger kids (my parents always made us do push-ups). I have experience helping younger children with schoolwork in different ways. I am certified in CPR/AED, I am a certified Orange Belt in Taekwondo, and I have been trained in the safe use and handling of firearms.
