Tailor’s Bio
I’m a compassionate and experienced caregiver with a strong background in both elder care and early childhood education. My caregiving journey includes working at Ivy Park at Seal Beach, where I supported residents in an assisted living and memory care setting. I assisted with daily living tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility, while also offering companionship and emotional support. I’m trained in CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), which equipped me to handle dementia-related behaviors with calm and care, always prioritizing dignity and safety.
In addition to elder care, I have a deep passion for working with children. I served as a Lead Infant Teacher at Leap Into Learning Preschool, where I created nurturing routines and developmentally appropriate activities to support infants through their earliest milestones. I also worked as an Assistant Teacher at New Horizons Preschool, where I supported children with autism, helping them thrive in structured, inclusive environments. I am CPR-certified, skilled in behavior support, and knowledgeable in early childhood development.
Beyond my formal experience, I’ve always been the oldest cousin in a large family and naturally stepped into a caregiving role from a young age. Whether helping with bedtime routines, resolving sibling conflicts, or keeping younger kids safe and entertained, I’ve been a trusted figure in my family’s circle of care.
My caregiving style is rooted in empathy, patience, communication, and consistency. I believe in creating safe, supportive spaces where people — young or old — can feel seen, respected, and cared for.
