Hello, and thank you for viewing my profile.
My name is Savannah, I am 27 years young and have been in the medical field for over 8 years. I started out as a caregiver in Hospice, which will always be near and dear to my heart.
From there, I went on to become a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist. I do enjoy the aspect of helping people everyday as an MA but I do miss the one on one experience that the Care Companion experience offers. I have wide scope of practice under my belt, in case that type of help is required. I have worked with many Geriatric patients, Bariatric patients, as well as those on long term care.
I have the capability to:
Change a catheter
Clean/Redress wounds
Administer ID/IM injections
Draw blood from fragile veins or from a port
CPR certified
Hygiene assistance
Light housekeeping(if needed)
Cooking(I love to cook!)
Aside from my clinical skill set, I know what sets me apart from any other Care Companion.
My attitude. I feel I have the compassion and honesty that is missing in the Medical field today. I am a very personable woman, who loves to genuinely help others as well as bring a form of balance to their lives.
