In the he past I took care of grandfather for 10 years. My experience is more family driven. I had made a promise to my grandpa, I did walk away from my career and took care of him solely till his passing. He lived a wonderful life up until, just short of 102 birthday. Our daily activities were getting him out of the house daily for lunch or just a car ride which kept him stimulated. I would run errands for him did laundry. House cleaning and helped with his day to day care. I had my cosmetology license was able to maintain his hair and nails other shaving needs. At the time helped with monthly bills and keeping up his dietary needs and shopping. Being in the Restaurant Industry for 25 years my scope of meals are quite extensive and able to help with meal planning. Be able to cook have other meals prepared for other days were they can be just heated.. Towards the end of his life I was able to work hand and hand with the doctors make sure he was comfortable.
