I an a current student at vanguard university majoring in Biology. I love working with adults. I have experience with day to day tasks like preparing meals, helping get dressed, running errands. I also have experience changing adult diapers, ostomy bags, feeding tubes, helping take meds, and helping with taking blood sugars. I have experience with dementia as I used to watch my grandma who had it I also had to change her diapers. I also used to take care of my step dad who had cancer, diabetes, and at one one point had a feeding tube, and a ostomy bag (poop bag). I am a smaller person so I can’t dead lift if the person can’t move at all and is over 150 but I am good with assisting from bed to wheelchair, to/from the car and wheel chair and to the coach and onto the toilet as I had to help my stepdad 6’2 and 195 lbs but all of those places had a bar so he could hold on and push off one side while I helped lift the other side of him up to transfer.
