Hello! My name is Matheus but you can call me Matt or Matthew. I have 29 years old and my first language is Portuguese, but I also speak English and Spanish. I was born in Brazil and when I was younger, I had to help my parents to take care of my two younger brothers and a small dog, while they were at work. I started entertaining my brothers, learning how to organize a house, preparing foods and being responsible of them when my parents were out. Since then I got older and begin to enjoy sports, practicing judo, karate, volleyball, swimming, tennis, soccer and basketball. I’m a very athletic person who is always trying to exercise and enjoying a healthy lifestyle. I’m also calm, patient, proactive and easy-going person who can expend hours taking care of kids who needs to lose energy and get entertained, while their parents need to focus on work.
When I began living in New York I started to take care of two boys at age 5 and 7 for 1 year and 6 months. Since then I got used to drop them off at school, take to doctor, do the grocery and take to after-school activities. I can give their family contact for reference if needed.
I have a NYC driver license and drive since I was 18 years old in my country, and since 2018 here in New York.
My general expertise are kids from 3 years old, who are on preschool, to 14 years old. If you think that I’m a good fit to be responsible of your kids, please hit me up! I'm available weekdays and weekends. I will be more than happy to start in your new family.
