Hello! My name is Lauren and I'm 27 years old. I live in Hewlett and have been a private companion for over 10 years. It all started back in high school when my grandmother moved in and spent everyday together. A lot of wonderful memories. Three years ago, I left my full time job to be a private companion for my aunt who thankfully is in remission from cancer :). Also, for two years I worked for a elderly man who lived in an assisted living with dementia. Recently, for almost another two years was a case manager for the dementia/alheizmers unit for over 100 residents. Spending time with an elderly person is not a job but a joy. I love my grandparents and visit them every week. When they are in Florida for six months out of the year, I call them every two days to let them know I'm thinking about them.
