I have provided senior companion services for 2 elderly couples over the past 3 years. When I first started, I helped out a friend's mother who had fallen and needed help with things she could not do herself after her fall. As time passed working with both families, I realized that I felt a strong connection with these seniors, enjoyed our time together, and found great satisfaction providing nuturing care. I would like to continue!

Some of the responsibilities I had: grocery shopping, both alone and with my senior, medication preparation, light meal preparation (kosher) , laundry, paying bills and handling mail, transportation to doctor and other places, organizing, and simply going out to enjoy an outing. And, various other tasks--computer help, writing letters, calling the bank or other companies, taping up plastic covers on the air conditioners in the winter--you never know what comes up!

I am cheerful, patient, nurturing, a good listener and reliable. I am available on an on-call occasional basis, and to work regular hours part-time during the week.
