I am a 55 year old woman in good health and looking to go back to my roots as a caregiver. I worked for a time in the garment industry and although I was good at my job when the company closed I wanted to do something rewarding. I started as Home Heath Aide at 18 years old and have never found a career that was as rewarding as caring and companionship. My most recent care giver experience was for a woman in her 70's initially she just had some trouble getting around and need help around the house, cleaning, light meals, some personal care. As time went on, two years, we became close and sadly she became increasingly ill. I stayed with her until she passed away in 2013. Even as her condition worsened we would talk and laugh. She was one of the most intelligent and fun people I have ever met. I miss her and would like to find someone that I can share not only my love for care giving but also let them share their life experiences and hopefully make their days happier and easier.
I am extremely dependable and easy going and have a true love for care giving.
