During my last two years of high school, I needed community service hours for the honor society program. I decided to do my hours in a nursing home. I had too assists the staff with recreational activities, safely transport the residents to and from units, and of course respectfully communicate with them. At times I would be sent to the Alzheimer's floor, in which I learned to be very patient and supportive of anything they needed.
