My background also includes working with the intellectually disabled and helping to provide the support and assistance. I enjoy assisting the individuals and helping to improve their lives. I enjoy making a difference in their lives. I enjoyed helping customers and making them feel good about their purchase, but also proving the necessary support with their purchase or if they may not be satisfied with their purchase afterward.
Previously, I worked in Macys, most notably in the bedding and furniture department. I was a bedding specialist and I was promoted to a manger of the bedding store at the time when the Macy’s bedding stores were open. I was able to provide customer service, and assist with conflict resolution. Currently, I work as a counselor and clinical (administrative work) work for the intellectually disabled individuals. My responsibilities include; maintaining the coordination amongst the individuals and their families, their representatives, the staff, and their respective day habilitation programs. I also maintain a caseload and organize meetings for the individuals. I coordinate meetings for the management and clinical teams.
