Hi! My name is Hermela Stephanos Mekonnen. I am 19 years old and attend college on the UES at Marymount Manhattan College. I grew up in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia my whole life with my family and 11 year old brother, until I moved to NYC alone last year for school. It had been hard transitioning to life here without my family, but I'm very happy to be here. I study International Business with a concentration in Economics. Most of my cousins are younger so I'm not very new to babysitting. I have always been in charge of watching my younger brother and as surprising as it seems we do seem to get along well :)
