My name is Djena Lampkin. I am a care companion. I have worked several shifts and several hours at a homecare agency caring for elderly patients with behavior health and disability disorders. I obtained BSL first aide and cpr certificate. At the job I was very energetic, ready, willing and able to give my all to make sure the patients needs were met. I had no complaint responding and attending to the patients needs no matter of what time or the task. I gave full attention and made sure the patients were comfortable and assisted carefully and gently , quickly and efficiently giving a lot of energry fulfilling 8 hour shifts with little to no sit time . Always attended and cared for more than one patient at a time with completing the daily duties required . Such as

I did grooming, bathing, dressing and toileting. Assisting with shaving, only with the use of an electric shaver. Assisting with feeding the ensuring the client can still independently swallow and be positioned upright. Assisting with pivot transfers (bed to chair, chair to bed, chair to commode and wheel-chair to car) only when the client has sufficient balance and strength to reliably stand, pivot and assist with the transfer. Complying with the facility’s policies and procedures.
