hello! i'm ryen (they/them). i am a senior care companion and babysitter with a background in dance, ceramics, and visual art. i come to this work with lots of experience providing one-on-one care to kids and to some seniors, as well as years of making art, teaching art classes, and co-teaching at preschools in new york. i am currently enrolled in an end-of-life training program through going with grace, and am very eager to expand my experience supporting seniors. i am a gentle and patient person and prioritize really listening and getting to know the individual i'm working with. i am an avid meditator with over ten years of practice, and really enjoy facilitating meditation with folks if there is desire for it. i am also training to be a somatic experiencing practitioner. please reach out if it seems like we'd work well together!
