Caring for elders is something I value deeply, as I believe every person deserves dignity, patience, and compassion. I am a certified nursing assistant (CNA) with years of hands-on experience supporting seniors with daily routines, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and safe transportation. I also provide meaningful companionship through conversation, reading, walks, and shared activities, always with a calm and attentive approach.
In addition to my professional training, I bring strong communication skills and speak English, German, French, and Italian, which allows me to connect more easily with individuals from different backgrounds. Barbara was absolutely amazing with our 2-year-old while we were on vacation! She was warm, patient, and incredibly engaging — our son adored her from the start. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Barbara went above and beyond to keep him happy, entertained, and comfortable in a new environment. We can’t recommend her highly enough and would love to have her watch him again anytime!
Barbara is fantastic. Our son loved her and she was so engaged while putting him to bed and getting him to sleep. Would definitely recommend for any childcare needs.
Barbara was great! She watched my 2-year-old daughter, my 3-year-old niece, and my 8-year-old nephew while we were at a wedding. They all had a great time. She made them dinner, and they were all happily in bed when we got home. She was also very accommodating as we asked her to come over an hour before we had to leave, and we were in an Airbnb, which meant we didn't know the house/kitchen very well.
Barbara took wonderful care of our six month old. Any family would be lucky to work with her.
