I have taken care of elderly parents , both mine and my husbands, in addition to a very dear neighborhood friend. I am a young 60 year old who is very active and enjoys the company of both young and old. I find it enjoyable to sit and chat with seniors and hear "their stories" even if I heard them " a few times" before. That's ok. I love doing puzzles or playing cards with them. My favorite things to do is to look at old photographs and see how people lived and dress "back in the day" . I am not a nurse so any personal hygiene would not be my specialty but if you needed someone to just keep your loved one busy and fix them a meal or two and just be a friend, then I would welcome the opportunity.
