I have provided companion care to a woman with Alzheimer's as well as worked as as a recreational therapist to 2 sisters with autism. While living in California I worked as a live in personal assistant to a woman with cerebral palsy. I enjoy being a caregiver because I know I am making a positive impact in someone's life. To me, working as a caregiver is not just a job. I enjoy spending my time and developing a friendship with the person I am working for.
