Hi! Thank you for taking a look at my profile!
I am a music teacher by profession and I am moving to New York because I can't resist it's siren song any longer. I am interested in finding employment that will be fulfilling and add love and enjoyment to my life.
I spent the last year living near my family and in addition to teaching music, I was a caretaker for my brother. He has a traumatic brain injury and while high functioning, he needed companionship and care. I loved it! We were able to do a lot together that he would not have done had I not been there for him.
This experience leads me to considering a job as a care companion. My degrees are in Music Education, so I don't have any fancy certifications - but I do have a big heart and a desire to help others.
