Jennifer’s Bio
My name is Jenny, I've been a babysitter for quite some time now and I absolutely love working with children! In addition, I have vast experiences working with individuals who have special needs. Throughout high school and college, I volunteered with various organizations with kids who had special needs including being a special olympics swim coach, playing unified sports, and getting my Girl Scout Gold Award working with the Friendship Circle organization. This past year, I worked at Ramapo For Children (in Rhinebeck, NY) in their residential transition-to-independent living program for young adults (ages 18-25) with special needs. In addition, I did one-on-one ComHab with young adults who had Autism to engage in the community and work on independent living and healthy life skills. Ramapo for children is also a summer camp for kids who have special needs so I was able to work with younger children this past summer as well! I am currently in graduate school studying occupational therapy and hope to go into pediatrics, working with kids who have special needs, when I graduate.
