Hey, I'm Amirra! Im a 21 year old college student going for my Masters in education. Ive had tons of experience working in human services like being a dietary aide for the elderly, tutoring kids age 3-16 in reading and English for over a year with 30+ successfully progressed readers, as well as babysitting and catering to the kids of friends and family (which is one of my biggest values). I am originally from Michigan but I moved to Manhattan, New York to pursue my career and immerse myself in all the good the city has to offer! Im a lover of art, literature and humanities and an upcoming author. I've always had a connection with the "vulnerable" in society--elderly and children because I realize how important it is to have that safe space and the right people to look to, and that's something so recognizable to children. I believe I could provide the perfect care and comfort to any child! I’ve worked as a dietary aide caring for the elderly, tutored kids K-12 and currently work as a speaker/presenter in schools around NYC giving students study/success tips!

Amirra is wonderful! She was very responsive to my job posting and great with communicating beforehand. She was punctual and immediately began making friends with my two grumpy toddlers. They were a handful all night and Amirra kept a great attitude through it all, trying different soothing tactics and keeping us informed and feeling confident that she had it all under control. I highly recommend her!
