Hello, my name is Samory. I am a 23 year old male who's recently moved from California to New York. Before I moved to New York I was a care companion for mostly elderly individuals. I would cook for them, take them to doctors appointments, entertain them, clean up after them etc.
The most important thing I have learned throughout my four years of experience is that having patience is the most important aspect of being a care companion. There is no other job that I can imagine that is more rewarding and fulfilling than taking care of people who need it and finding ways to put smiles on their faces throughout the day.
