Hi, I am interested in the position. It sounds like you are looking for a little of everything. While I have no references for care companions, I did look after my grandmother and loved spending time talking to her, playing games, letting her share her stories, etc. I have plenty of childcare experience, aside from being a mother of 2 boys. My childcare experience includes being a nanny, assistant teacher at a nursery school, and childcare worker at a health club. I would love to hear more about the job and I also live in Pawling. Sheri was absolutely amazing. We recently traveled to CT for a family wedding weekend and needed someone to watch our two small children during and after the rehearsal dinner and then on and off during the wedding day. After messaging a bit on the SitterCity app, she took the initiative to call me a week and a half before the wedding to discuss my needs for the weekend and learn more about the kids. Her kind and responsible manner was immediately evident on the phone. She was prompt (even early) both days and came prepared with loads of toys and activities for the kids. The kids immediately warmed up to her and seemed to enjoy the time they spent with her. Sheri even helped out during the wedding ceremony - when my son started to fuss, she just scooped him up and took him for a walk. Sheri just seemed to know how to help. My husband and I didn’t worry for a minute while our kids were in her care. I wish I could find someone just like her in my hometown of ATL! Definitely hire her, you won’t regret it.
Sheri is fantastic. She used to watch my 2 year old on Mondays and Fridays and it was always his favorite day of the week when Sheri came. She always has fun activities and is responsible, engaging, cautious and caring. I highly recommend her.
Sheri was great! Our son seemed to immediately like her, and she had a very calm energy while also being detail oriented. Highly recommended!
