Gwenn’s Bio
I spent 3 1/2 years caring for an elderly man until he passed. Also, I was a live-in caregiver for my father for one year before he passed. Care included: companionship, meal preparation, feeding, dressing, showering and shaving, physical therapy exercises, transportation to appointments, and accompanying them from room to room. I can also help with travel and light housekeeping. I prefer to start work at 12pm or after.
I am a mother of 3 grown children. For 21 years I had a home daycare. My greatest joy in life is practicing my Catholic faith. Full disclosure: I'm recovering from stage 4 (nonsmoking) lung cancer. I'm currently on a drug that is killing the cancer, but a side effect is fatigue. That's why I want to work about 10 hours a week. I'm just now trying to return to the work force. Also, I do not smoke, drink alcohol, nor use illegal drugs. My transportation rate is $15/hour.
