I am a mature responsible adult woman looking to care for you or your loved one in their home.
I had the opportunity to take care of my mother-in-law in my home for three years. She has MS, mostly blind and onset of dementia. My recent client is a 89 year old woman with the onset of dementia. She recently moved to assisted living. My duties included but were not limited to light housekeeping, laundry, meals, shower and dressing, medication and taking her to various appointments. My fee is $15/25 an hour depending on duties performed. The most important aspect of caring for her was companionship, kindness and understanding. I have worked in the field of care giving and children with special needs as well for over ten years and find it rewarding and fulfilling.
