Nancy’s Bio
For the past four years I have provided care and companionship for three elderly women. I will be starting classes in October to become certified. I have provided hygiene care for these woman, showering them, getting them dressed, applying any topical medications, making sure they take their medications, one woman in particular is paralyzed and in this particular case I change her depends and her pads as she is not able to clean herself in this regard. I cook meals if needed, I do light housekeeping if needed, I will take them to their doctors appointments and shopping with them or shop for them. I am a companion to these women in the sense that I provide loving care and conversation and companionship. I truly enjoy and get much satisfaction from helping and aiding the elderly. This is a very rewarding occupation for me.
