As I have become older you don't realize that our parents are aging just as quickly. I realized about 12 years ago when my father in law passed away and I was pregnant with my second child, I didn't know how I was going to console my husband. As this was happening my mother in law became very ill and moved in with my husband and I. I became her 24/7 caregiver until she needed Hospice. I have experience in flushing IV's, changing wound bandages cleaning and bathing patients. Re-Inserting foley's taking care of pick lines and colostomy bags while extending all the emotional support could for my mother in law and our family.
I am not licensed as a nurse but have lots of knowledge at young age, as my step father who raised me just retired as a doctor from Rikers Island
