love being a caregiver because it gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life every day. Helping people feel safe, cared for, and respected is incredibly fulfilling. I enjoy building meaningful relationships with patients and being someone they can rely on for comfort and support.
I have completed clinical training as part of my STNA certification, where I assisted residents in a long-term care facility with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility. I’ve also had hands-on experience with vital signs, infection control, and working as part of a healthcare team. Additionally, I’ve cared for a toddler at home, which has helped me develop patience, empathy, and time management skills. I have been a caregiver for 4 years.
I am trained in basic nursing care, including personal hygiene, transferring and ambulating patients safely, taking vital signs, and recognizing signs of distress. I understand infection control procedures, proper body mechanics, and how to document care accurately. I also have strong communication skills and a compassionate, respectful approach to caregiving.
