A lot of times, people just need patience, kindness, and someone who treats them like a person and not just a task. I like knowing that something as simple as helping someone get dressed, eat, or just listening to them can make their whole day better.
Being a caregiver also taught me empathy and how important small moments are. Sometimes it’s not even about the big medical things — it’s about making someone feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I like being someone people can trust and depend on.
