Hello! My name is Ema, and I am currently looking for a child care/ adult care/ nanny position in the Columbus area while I complete my Bachelors degree in Social Services through Franklin University. I have many years of experience in care giving and thoroughly LOVE this work. My caregiving career began when I became certified through Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities to provide services for two of my family members with special needs. Beginning in 2015, I became an independent care provider and started working full time with 3 individuals whose care included transportation, medication administration, completing physical therapy routines, cooking, cleaning, laundry, community engagement, and running errands. After returning to school to begin my career in Social Work, I took a break from caregiving; however my course load is much lighter now due to limited opportunities caused by the pandemic. In 2018, I was hired as a full time babysitter for a new born baby girl, and provided these services for one year, until her mother decided to take a job that allowed her to work from home. I absolutely love working with older adults, children, and individuals with special needs. I have been described as patient, creative, gentle, responsible, punctual, and dependable. My hobbies include reading, photography, hiking, cooking, and playing the cello.
