Shelby’s Bio
Hi- my name is Shelby! I have one degree in Behavioral Neuroscience and am back in school now for nursing. I am CPR, first-aid, AED and previously lifeguard certified. I have experience as a caregiver in many arenas including caring for an ill live-in grandparent and as a hospice volunteer. Through my nursing school I have worked with many senior citizens and have learned to care for their disease processes, including administration of medication and injections.
I also have 10+ years of childcare experience ranging from assistant preschool teacher, summer nannying, casual babysitting, coaching gymnastics and cheerleading (including to special needs and behavioral/developmental delays), and working in several church nurseries. I currently work in the childcare facility at a workout facility and am a tutor for my school in many subjects.
I am comfortable working with anyone of any age!
