In November 2013, my beautiful grandmother was diagnosed with cancer. I put school on hold and moved in with her temporarily to take care of her. I realized how precious my time was with her and felt called to help others who can't quite do things as easily as they used to. I am in no way a professional. However, I learned a lot from taking care of my grandmother. I am great with people and can help in areas such as cooking, cleaning, bathing, keeping track of medication, just being a friend, etc.
