Barbara’s Bio
A natural caregiver, I am devoted to helping elders help themselves live healthy and happy lives in their home. I offer generous companionship through personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, appointments, errands, artistic activities, gardening, biographical storytelling, memoir writing, correspondence, entertaining, and travel. A retired teacher, I have worked with many elders and their special needs during the past 10 years. Some were challenged physically, others mentally. All became dear friends. A trained STNA and hospice volunteer, I received the certificate of excellence for in home based caregiver in 2009 (Senior Action Network, Olympia, WA). I have many recommendations and references. My 90 year old mother is one as I help her every evening!
