I really enjoy coming alone side of people who need help. I have learned in life that help looks differently for everyone. I believe in meeting individual heart & physical needs on an individual basis. What works for one person maynot work for another. Keeping our loved ones safe is a high priority. Talking with the family and setting up a care plan is important.
My experience comes from in part from caring for my son who is multi handicapped young adult, he has breathing problems and requires aresol treatments, meds and oxygen at time. He also has a wide spectrum of seizures. He enjoys life, work & church lots. We have a great team of nurses here at home that help with his care, freeing me up to go and help other families. Some of my experience coming from taking care of my mom here in my home and after her stoke I helped her at the nursing home. I visited often helping to manage her care there and just loved mom.
I also worked for Home Instead as an aide in senior homes helping them with meals, meds reminder, companionship, driver, some house cleaning ect.
I am available part time days during the week.
