Brittany’s Bio

I’ve worked at Bittersweet Farms (home to adults with autism) for 8 years and have been running one of the homes for 5 years. I also have other experience with both adults and adolescents with disabilities. I’ve worked with individuals with autism, Down syndrome, cognitive delay and individuals who are deaf. I’m most passionate about individuals being able to live their lives as independently as possible. I’m willing to do pretty much any assortment of activities and likely have experience doing most of what may be needed of me. I don’t have a degree but have a lot of work experience as well as 4 siblings with autism as well as other disorders. I’m very fun and positive and easy going and get along with pretty much everyone. I also don’t mind saying what needs said and being real with people while keeping their best interest in mind. I’m very confident that I’m good at what I do and that helps me establish relationships with new clients fairly quickly.
