I have 7 yrs. Experience in the care of long-term, terminally ill, Alzheimer's, dementia, & behavioural patients. I love being able to provide & be that person one knows they can count on to help them, to make them feel better about themselves, & on some cases being the person who fills the void for ones who have no other family or loved ones. I am certified in Oklahoma & Arkansas as a long-term care aid (CNA). I provided care & assistance, along with house hold "chores" for both of my grandparents ( grandfather being on hospice & grandmother being very ill of health) prior to them passing. I do have experience with persons on peg. Tubes, total assistance, as well as the pattern of routinely repositioning every 2 hours to those who require it to prevent bedsores & break down.
