For the last 41/2 years I was a caregiver fir my Mother, who had Alzheimer's and my sister who is Autistic. The last year, I also cared for my father, who was having cardiac problems and dementia, I cared for all 3 of them in their home, managing the household, which included meal prep, housework ,gardening, errands, personal hygiene, managing medication, delivery to and from medical appointments, scheduling appointments and attending these appointments to ensure I fully understood the doctors orders and could effectively implement them. I gained a lot of knowledge of how dementia works and the patience involved in caregiving.
