Destiny’s Bio
My experience has primarily been as a certified Private Nanny and a Newborn Care Specialist with 10+ yrs of experience. I am also experienced with twins and multiples and specialize in infants/ newborns and toddlers, but experience with up to age 12. I do have experience with children with special needs (Autism, Downs, G-Tube, Diabetes, Food Allergies, Eczema, GERD, Asthma, Ventilators). I also have the personal experience of being a mama myself (which I find as a major plus!).
I have an AAS in Early Childhood Education and Development and a college background in Family Psychological Development as well as a graduate of the Nanny Institute. I am CPR/ First Aide Certified, Life Guard Certified and have a good reliable vehicle and clean background.
My skills include sign language/ toddler language development, teaching skills for toddlers (color recognition, animal recognition, sensory exploration), cooking, sleep training, cleaning, potty training, developmental milestone advancement, etc. I also am able to help out with tutoring/ school curriculum, and I enjoy art and outdoor time.
In addition to my caregiving experience in the childcare field, I have worked occasionally with the elder as a companion. Tasks have included medication management, meal prep, transfers, schedule management, transportation, and helping with chores and tasks.
