Tina’s Bio
I have care giving experience from working as a CNA in the past. I have worked with residents who suffered from Alzheimer's and other types of dementia care. I have also worked as an activity aide providing scheduled activities through out the day and outings to residents residing in a nursing home. I attented school for nine months to earn a diploma as a Health Information Specialist. I have also worked in group homes supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and intergrating them into the community with the hopes that one day they would be able to either live on their own independently or with limited assistance. Services I provided were companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, grocery shopping and errands, light housekeeping and transportation to appointments. Being a caregiver is what I love to do. I am a compassionate person and committed to providing exceptional care. I take pride in knowing that the care I provide allows the freedom and choice of keeping loved ones comfortable and cared for in their own homes enhancing the lives of the aging adults. I enjoy making a difference in the life of the person being cared for and find care giving a very rewarding field to work in.
