Wadia A. Care Companion in Chester, PA 19013

I'm a single mother of one beautiful baby girl who will be 2 years old in February! I've been caring for children since I was very young. I come from a huge family on both my mother's and father's side. My first hands on experience with care was in my grandmother's final stages of her life. I was the designated granddaughter caring for her. I bathed her, combed her hair, cleaned her home, and prepared meals for her for until she passed away. I went on to work at a senior care facility for 2 years with residents who suffered from alzheimers and dementia. It was a bitter sweet experience as you can imagine becoming close to the residents and their families. I attended several funerals while working there. I've also worked in daycares, here in the states as well as overseas (Doha, Qatar) while I lived there for 1 year and 8 months. Since becoming a mother, I've been an au pair for 2 separate clients and have babysat for family members. Being a mom has been the most rewarding yet challenging "job" that I've had thus far! I wouldn't trade it for anything. I guess some can say that I was born to care for others. I've been doing it for so long and it's been nothing short of amazing to be able to help others.
