I am a systems consultant but my experience is caring for a ninety year old woman periodically at her family's request. The woman used a walker due to Parkinson's disease, COPD and limited sight.

I transported her to salon for a hair cut every six weeks, holiday shopping, food shopping doctors' visits, reading mail, telephone help and occasional restaurant visits for lunch or dinner.

My assistance for her was helping in/out of the car, bathroom visits, reading, feeding and mobility help.

I spent three years as a companion for this fine woman.
