I’ve worked in Penn oncology and Jefferson internal medicine which mostly cater to her elderly patients. When I worked in Penn oncology I made a lot of friends and bonded with a lot of the patients there. I would find myself sometimes clocking out and sitting with patients during their chemo treatments just so that way they would have a friend if they were alone. I had one patient became more like a friend tell me I was the sunshine and his darkness. It was such a fulfilling experience for me
