What experience do you have?
I have 2 years of experience working as a caregiver with the first year being my pop pop, supporting clients with a range of needs including elderly individuals, those with disabilities, and clients recovering from illness or surgery. I’ve worked both in private home settings and with agencies, providing help with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meal prep, medication reminders, mobility support, and companionship. I’ve also supported clients with dementia and chronic conditions, always with patience, empathy, and respect. I am trained in basic first aid and CPR, I have strong communication skills, a calm and compassionate demeanor, and excellent time management. I’m also skilled in assisting with personal care, using mobility aids, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. I understand how to document care activities accurately and work well with both clients and their families to ensure everyone feels informed and supported.
