I'm an LN or licensed practical nurse with many years of experience from hospital, rehab, and transitional skilled nursing to long term care facilities. Also worked in homes for a lot of years doing pediatric and geriatric private duty nursing... I became a nurse back in 2001 I had previously went to school before this and trained to be a medical secretary. But I knew I wanted to do more than just paperwork and why I wanted to become a nurse. So I could make a difference in the lives of others. I'm also planning to finish my RN degree that I've been working on since 2008. I was almost done with it in 2011, and at that time I needed to stop attendance to school due to family problems at that time. But now I'm back to where I want to be and I'm even looking into where I can finish RN degree working on it from home. I would really just like for anything right now to be able to work on my own and independently for individuals in their homes to help in making a difference for them..
