Estela’s Bio
My name is Estela Nickels and I’m a certified nursing assistant (CNA). I’ve worked as a CNA for about 3 years now. Before that I worked in retail and also with kids. I’m have my CNA license, cpr certified, and a high school graduate. I’ve been working with people all my life. It started out as babysitting, as I grew up I was able to work at the ymca with kids. Then as I got my CNA license I was able to work with the elderly and help them with their daily tasks. This includes help getting in and out of bed, as well as getting ready. Also cooking, cleaning, helping their pets, in and out of the bathroom, and also companionship. I have lots of patience and am a quick learner. I work until it’s time to punch out so I’m never not doing anything. I believe it’s important to think about who I’m working with and to make sure they are comfortable and happy for me to be there.
