I am a retired rehabilitation counselor and looking to continuing working and love working with the geriatric community. I am certified in geriatrics.
I have a lot of patience, I'm understanding and I listen. I treat people with the utmost dignity and respect. I realize that losing independence is a difficult thing and I do my best to help them feel as independent as possible. Through my years in rehabilitation counselling, it was always important to look for new ways of doing things so I can get very creative and make some of these life changes more pleasant. People I have worked for say I am very easy to get along with and do my best to see that they are comfortable and happy. I'm dependable, responsible and trustworthy. If there a last minute need, I can usually adjust my schedule.
